VSC’s guide to courses in veterinary medicine has been updated for applications in 2019.
As well as entry criteria, the guide offers information on what the different veterinary schools look for in work experience and how they use interviews.
The common policies held across the veterinary schools are also detailed, including information on disability, personal statements and the use of contextual data in admissions.
This new edition contains common statements and definitions on widening participation, as well as a grid showing the various initiatives used to assist under-represented and disadvantaged students into and through the veterinary degree. These can range from bursaries to gateway courses and using contextualised offers.
