Graduate and Employer Surveys: 2019
Veterinary schools took feedback from employers and graduates in two new surveys from the Veterinary School Council and RCVS. These surveys allowed veterinary schools of the UK and Ireland to collect feedback about their graduates, helping them ensure that veterinary education is meeting the needs of the workplace.
Employer survey: 2017
In 2017 the Veterinary Schools Council conducted the first survey of employers of veterinary graduates from veterinary schools of the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Veterinary schools each previously conducted surveys of employers of their own graduates, but combining the surveys will build a broader picture of veterinary graduates than has been seen previously. This benefits employers in reducing their burden, and it will help veterinary schools to inform veterinary education through the use of data. It is intended that the survey is developed and repeated in the future, over time building a powerful body of information.
Your input
The surveys are key to veterinary schools’ broader engagement with both employers and alumni and the Veterinary Schools Council is continually looking for feedback on the surveys which can improve the next iterations. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know below.
Your email address would be used only to contact you directly should the developers of the survey seek to enquire further.
